Get answers to common questions about Underarms.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer over time. We’ll help recommend the ideal maintenance schedule for your routine.

Our trained estheticians use appropriate wax, temperature control and techniques to minimize irritation and avoid burns. We screen for contraindications and provide aftercare instructions to reduce redness. Serious complications are rare and promptly addressed if they occur.

Arrive with clean, dry underarms free of deodorant or lotion. Hair should be about 1/4 inch long for optimal removal. Avoid heavy sun exposure and aggressive exfoliation immediately before your appointment, and tell us about any skin concerns or medications.

Sensation varies, but underarm waxing is quick and discomfort is brief. Our technicians use fast techniques and calming products to reduce pain. Many clients find waxing less irritating than frequent shaving, and sensitivity typically decreases with regular appointments.

We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying deodorant or antiperspirant to allow pores to close. If needed sooner, choose a fragrance-free, gentle product. Avoid alcohol-based sprays and strong fragrances right after waxing.

Apply a cool compress and a soothing, fragrance-free lotion immediately after treatment. Avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing, begin gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours, and contact us if irritation persists.
