Get answers to common questions about Half Leg.
Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual genetics. Regular waxing can lengthen time between services as hair grows back thinner and sparser.
Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils. Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before your visit to remove dead skin cells and reduce ingrown hairs, but avoid harsh scrubs or sun exposure immediately before waxing.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on first waxing or with coarse hair, but our skilled therapist uses techniques and topical comforts to minimize pain. Numbing creams can be applied beforehand if you have low tolerance or special sensitivity.
We recommend scheduling appointments every three to six weeks, depending on your natural hair growth. Consistent waxing encourages finer regrowth and may extend intervals over time. Book based on visible regrowth rather than a fixed calendar.
Shaving defeats waxing benefits by cutting hair at the surface, which can cause uneven regrowth and more frequent waxing needs. If you must tidy, trim with scissors or clippers, but avoid shaving to preserve smooth results.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer and gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Contact us if irritation or persistent redness occurs.
