A Half Arm appointment generally takes about 20–30 minutes, including consultation and post-wax soothing. Timing varies with hair density and any needed trimming, but most clients are finished quickly and can resume normal activities immediately.
Waxing can cause brief discomfort, especially on coarse hair, but our trained technicians use techniques and soothing products to reduce pain. Many clients find discomfort lessens with repeat sessions; topical numbing is available on request.
Exfoliate gently 48 hours before to remove dead skin, ensure hair is about quarter-inch long, avoid heavy creams or oils on the day, and skip sun exposure or tanning before your appointment for best results.
Most men enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing can lead to finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments as hair cycles adjust.
Avoid shaving between waxing sessions; shaving interrupts the hair cycle and prevents proper waxing. If regrowth is patchy, book a touch-up so we can remove hair evenly and maintain consistent results.
Active sunburn, open wounds, severe acne, recent chemical peels, or use of retinoids may prevent waxing. Inform your technician of medications or skin conditions so we can advise, or recommend a brief patch test.
