Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Boxer Length (upper leg wax).

Results usually last three to six weeks depending on hair growth rate, hormones, and exfoliation routine. Regular waxing can extend intervals by reducing regrowth thickness. We'll advise personalized timing during your appointment.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on a first session, but pain is brief and manageable. We use calming techniques, quality wax, and soothing aftercare to minimize sensitivity. Communicate with your therapist and we’ll adapt pressure and pace for comfort.

Arrive with hair about a quarter-inch long (roughly 7-10mm), clean and free of lotions. Exfoliate gently 24-48 hours beforehand and avoid sunburn or intense exercise before your visit to reduce irritation.

Avoid hot showers, sun exposure, swimming pools, and heavy exercise for 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended products, exfoliate gently after 48-72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and wear breathable clothing while skin recovers.

Waxing removes hair from the root, which lowers ingrown hair risk compared to shaving. Combined with proper exfoliation and moisturization, it significantly reduces occurrences, though genetics and hair texture still play a role.

Most clients return every three to six weeks based on regrowth and personal preference. After several sessions, hair often grows finer and sessions can be spaced further apart. We'll recommend a schedule suited to your growth pattern during consultation.
