Get answers to common questions about Total Bodywax.
Total Bodywax covers every area below the neck, including chest, back, abdomen, arms, legs, underarms, groin, and buttocks. Face and scalp are excluded. Your technician will review included areas during booking and confirm preferences before starting the service.
Come with clean, dry skin and avoid applying lotions or heavy moisturizers. Ideally hair should be at the correct length; avoid sunburn and skip intense workouts right before the appointment. Inform us about medications or skin sensitivities prior to waxing.
For best results, hair should be roughly a quarter to a half inch long (about 6 to 12 mm). This length allows wax to fully grip hair for efficient removal while minimizing breakage and missed strands.
Yes — Total Bodywax can be safe for many sensitive skin types when customized techniques, gentle waxes, and patch tests are used. Disclose any conditions, medications, or recent procedures so the technician can adapt products and approach safely.
Most clients schedule Total Bodywax every four to six weeks for consistent results, though individual growth rates vary. After several sessions, hair often grows back finer, allowing slightly longer intervals and easier maintenance over time.
Mild redness or bumps are normal immediately after waxing; we minimize irritation with correct technique and soothing post-care products. Avoid hot showers, heavy exercise, and tight clothing for 24 to 48 hours, and contact us if you experience prolonged swelling or severe reaction.
