Get answers to common questions about Total Bodywax.

Total Bodywax includes chest, back, abdomen, arms, legs, groin, and buttocks — essentially everything from the neck down. Face and scalp are excluded. Service is customized per client; session time varies by area. Consult during booking for any specific requests.

Shower and arrive clean, avoid moisturizers or heavy products, and allow hair to be at least a quarter-inch (about 6 mm). Avoid shaving for four weeks and disclose medications or sensitivities before appointment for safe, effective waxing.

Waxing causes short, manageable discomfort rather than long-term pain. Our trained estheticians use efficient technique, soothing pre- and post-care, and can offer topical numbing on request. Regular waxing usually reduces sensitivity over time for a faster, more comfortable experience.

Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth and hormones. Regular waxing thins regrowth and can extend intervals. We recommend scheduling maintenance every four to six weeks for consistently smooth results.

We won’t wax skin with severe sunburn, open wounds, active infections, recent chemical peels, or if you’ve used isotretinoin within the past six months. Blood-thinning medications and some medical conditions require caution—disclose health history during booking for a safe assessment.

Aftercare includes avoiding hot showers, saunas, intense exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Wear loose, breathable clothing, skip exfoliation for 48 hours, then gently exfoliate to prevent ingrowns. Apply gentle, fragrance-free soothing lotion to calm skin.
