Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular maintenance sessions every four to eight weeks keep regrowth finer and extend time between appointments.

Arrive with hair about a quarter inch long; avoid heavy lotions, oils, retinol, or sunburned skin. Clean, dry skin is best. If hair is too long, we’ll trim; if too short, you may need to wait before waxing.

Sensation varies by person and area; initial sessions can be more sensitive but most clients describe quick, tolerable discomfort. We use calming techniques, quality wax, and can recommend numbing options for anxious clients.

Keep skin cool and clean after waxing: avoid hot showers, saunas, intense workouts, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and fragrance-free moisturizer; exfoliate gently after two to three days to prevent ingrowns.

Waxing can cause ingrown hairs for some, especially without proper aftercare. Regular exfoliation, loose clothing, and recommended topical treatments greatly reduce occurrences. Our technique and follow-up advice minimize risk over successive treatments.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (6mm) long so wax can grip effectively. If hair is longer we’ll trim; if it’s too short you may need to wait a week or two before booking your service.
