Appointments typically last 90 to 120 minutes depending on hair density and client comfort. Our technician prioritizes thorough, careful waxing for each area. First-time clients should allow extra time for consultation and skin prep.
Trim longer hair to about quarter-inch, avoid sun exposure and heavy exfoliation 48 hours before, keep skin clean and dry arriving. Avoid topical retinoids and blood thinners; inform us of medications or sensitivities.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but techniques, numbing options, and experienced staff help reduce pain. Most clients report quick passes and immediate relief, with sensitivity decreasing significantly after repeated sessions.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Apply gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers or aloe, avoid heavy workouts and tight clothing for a day. Resume exfoliation after 72 hours to prevent ingrowns and maintain smooth results.
Most clients schedule touch-ups every 4–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth. After several sessions, intervals can lengthen as regrowth softens. We’ll recommend a personalized schedule during your consultation to optimize smoothness and results.
Contraindications include active sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, active skin infections, and recent isotretinoin (Accutane) use. Certain medications or medical conditions may also prevent waxing. Schedule a consultation and disclose medical history so we can advise safe alternatives or adjustments.
