Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash tint & lip wax.

Tinted lashes generally last 3–6 weeks while lip waxing smooths hair for about 2–4 weeks. Individual results depend on hair growth cycles and aftercare. Avoid oil-based products and excessive rubbing, and schedule maintenance appointments to keep a consistent polished look.

We recommend an allergy patch test for lash tint at least 24–48 hours prior, especially for first-time clients or sensitive skin. Lip wax reactions are rare but discussed during consultation. Notify your technician of allergies, medications, or recent procedures.

Avoid mascara for at least 24–48 hours after tinting to allow the dye to set. Tinted lashes often eliminate daily mascara, but if used later choose non-waterproof, oil-free formulas to prolong tint longevity and reduce premature fading.

Avoid heavy exfoliation, retinoids, chemical peels, and sunburned skin for at least 48–72 hours. Refrain from waterproof mascara, eyelash serums, and blood-thinning medications if possible. If you have cold sores or recent facial procedures, disclose them before your lip wax appointment.

Tinting is painless; lip waxing causes brief sting or tugging but is quick. Safety depends on technician skill, hygiene, and patch testing. We use sterile tools, high-quality products, and discuss medical history to minimize risks and ensure a comfortable, safe experience.

For 24 hours avoid water, steam, saunas, and heavy makeup on treated areas. Use oil-free cleansers and avoid rubbing. For lips, apply a soothing, fragrance-free balm and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours. Book follow-up appointments every 3–6 weeks to maintain results.
