Trim hair to about quarter-inch if necessary, exfoliate the area a couple days before, avoid heavy moisturizers or tanning on the day, and arrive clean. We'll review any concerns and perform a quick patch test when needed for sensitive skin.

Pain varies by sensitivity and area; most clients describe brief discomfort that eases quickly. We use calming techniques, pre-warm wax, and soothing post-care to minimize pain. Regular waxing also reduces discomfort over time as hair thins.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly two weeks of growth) so the wax can grip effectively. Too short hair won't remove cleanly, and very long hair may be trimmed during your appointment for comfort.

Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on personal hair growth and desired maintenance. Regular appointments lead to finer regrowth and easier upkeep. We can recommend a personalized schedule during your visit based on your hair cycle.

Yes in many cases; disclose any eczema, psoriasis, recent sunburns, or medications. We'll perform a skin assessment and may do a patch test. In some situations we’ll suggest waiting or alternatives like trimming or gentle hair removal methods.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Use gentle cleansing, avoid exfoliating for 48 hours, apply soothing products we recommend, and exfoliate lightly after 3–5 days to prevent ingrown hairs.
