Aim for about a quarter-inch (3–5 mm) of regrowth so wax can grip hairs properly. Typically two weeks after shaving. If hair is too short we may need to reschedule; too long can increase discomfort, so modest length is ideal.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially on initial treatments, but our experienced technicians use fast, gentle techniques and soothing products to minimize discomfort. Taking ibuprofen beforehand, avoiding caffeine, and breathing during the treatment can help. Sensation typically lessens with regular waxing.

Most combos take about 30–45 minutes, depending on hair density and whether you want shaping or extra smoothing. New clients or sensitive skin consultations may take slightly longer. We aim for efficient, comfortable service without rushing technique or care.

Exfoliate gently 48–72 hours before to prevent ingrowns, and avoid heavy creams, oils, or deodorants on the day of service. Skip tanning and retinol products for several days prior. Wear loose, breathable clothing afterward for comfort and reduced irritation.

Most clients return every 3–6 weeks, depending on personal hair growth and maintenance preferences. With consistent waxing, regrowth becomes finer and intervals may lengthen. We'll recommend a personalized schedule during consultation to match your needs.

Waxing can contribute to ingrown hairs for some, but prevention helps: exfoliate regularly, use gentle chemical exfoliants (salicylic or glycolic acid), moisturize, avoid tight clothing immediately after service, and maintain consistent waxing intervals. We also offer targeted aftercare and treatment recommendations for persistent issues.
