Get answers to common questions about Half Leg, Bikini, Eye Brow.
Ideally 1/4 to 1/2 inch of regrowth (about two to three weeks) allows the wax to grip hair effectively. If too short, waxing may be less effective; too long may increase discomfort—trim slightly if needed before your appointment.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive bikini area and inner leg, but skilled technicians use quick, controlled strips and calming products to reduce pain. We offer tips and numbing options; many clients report less pain with subsequent visits.
Plan for roughly 45 to 60 minutes depending on hair density and any shaping requests. Brows are quick, while half legs and bikini take longer. Allow extra time for consultation, pre-care, and post-wax soothing if you're a new client.
Avoid shaving between appointments because it removes hair at the root and disrupts waxing results. If you need maintenance, trimming is acceptable. Stick to scheduled waxing to encourage softer regrowth and consistent hair reduction over time.
Keep treated areas clean and avoid hot baths, saunas, exfoliation, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or our recommended lotion, and use SPF on exposed legs when sunny to protect freshly waxed skin.
Active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema, psoriasis flares, recent chemical peels, or isotretinoin use may contraindicate waxing. We conduct a consultation and may advise postponing treatment or recommending alternatives for your safety and best results.
