Keep the area clean and avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts or tight clothing for 24 to 48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free soothing lotions and exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs and irritation.
Absolutely. Our estheticians welcome first-time clients and perform a brief consultation to address concerns and comfort levels. Ensure hair is roughly a quarter-inch long; we explain steps, use gentle technique, and offer aftercare tips to make the experience positive.
Avoid sun exposure, self-tanning, exfoliating acids and topical retinoids for at least 48 hours prior. Don't shave — waxing requires about a quarter-inch of hair. Also avoid blood thinners and heavy alcohol the day of and inform your esthetician of medications.
