We recommend at least 1/4 inch (about two weeks' growth) so the wax can grip hair effectively. If hair is longer, we may trim slightly. Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid topical oils or lotions beforehand.

Most clients describe a brief sting during removal that eases quickly. We use fast, professional techniques and soothing products to minimize discomfort. Communicate your sensitivity level — we can adjust methods and provide aftercare to reduce soreness.

Typically every 4–6 weeks depending on hair growth and personal preference. Regular appointments can lead to finer regrowth and easier removals. We’ll recommend a schedule based on your hair cycle and desired maintenance for optimal smoothness.

Some medications (retinoids, Accutane, certain topical prescriptions) increase skin sensitivity and risk of damage. Please disclose all medications during booking. We may ask for a doctor’s clearance or recommend a patch test to ensure safe waxing.

Exfoliate gently a few days before, avoid tanning and heavy creams on treatment day, and arrive clean. Wear comfortable clothing. If you’re prone to ingrown hairs, tell us so we can adapt technique and recommend pre-appointment care.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, vigorous exercise, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Apply recommended soothing lotions and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours. Start gentle exfoliation after a few days to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth results.
