Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and prior hair removal methods. Regular appointments can lead to finer regrowth and longer intervals between sessions.

Waxing removes hair from the root, so many feel more discomfort during the procedure than shaving. Sensation is brief and lessens with regular waxing; topical numbing or soothing post-care helps reduce pain and sensitivity.

Ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long, avoid sun exposure and heavy exfoliation 24-48 hours prior, and skip retinol or harsh skin treatments. Hydrated skin heals better—arrive clean and exfoliated gently the day before.

Waxing can sometimes contribute to ingrown hairs, especially without proper aftercare. We recommend gentle exfoliation a few days after, non-comedogenic moisturizers, and, if needed, targeted treatments to prevent and treat ingrowns.

Most skin types can be waxed, but active sunburns, open wounds, severe eczema, recent chemical peels, or isotretinoin use require postponement. A consultation will assess contraindications and recommend safe alternatives if waxing is not recommended.

Typically clients rebook every 3-6 weeks based on hair growth and personal preference. We can recommend an ideal interval during your visit; consistent scheduling helps reduce discomfort and achieves smoother, finer regrowth over time.
