Exfoliate gently 48 hours before, keep hair about ¼ inch long, skip creams or oils, and avoid sunburn or tanning. Arrive clean and wear loose clothing for comfort; notify us of medications or skin concerns.
Most clients experience quick, sharp discomfort that eases immediately; techniques reduce pain. Results typically last three to six weeks depending on hair growth, and regrowth often becomes finer and sparser with regular waxing.
Sensitive skin can be waxed with a patch test and gentler formulas; avoid waxing if you have fresh sunburn, recent chemical peels, or active rashes. Inform your therapist so we can adjust technique and aftercare for your skin.
Book every four to six weeks for consistent results; as hair thins with repeated waxing you may extend intervals to six to eight weeks. We'll recommend a schedule based on your hair growth and personal preferences.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy sweating, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Use a soothing, fragrance-free lotion and exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Wear breathable clothing to reduce irritation.
Certain medications (like retinoids or anticoagulants), active skin infections, open wounds, recent cosmetic procedures, or severe uncontrolled diabetes may preclude waxing. Pregnancy typically is safe but consult your doctor; disclose health history so we can advise and perform a patch test.
